FIELD NOTES:

  • human actors boost overall production value and help create authenticity to the story

  • the AI renderers (Seedance 2.5 in this case) will take visual cues from the “real” live action footage and match the level of realism when generating surrounding locations, particle effects, and wardrobe

  • interestingly, camera angles and certain performance nuances will “drift” from the raw video footage. Sometimes this is intentional (the early walking scene). Other times it’s incidental (both actors’ body language and expressions drift slightly in the interior scene)

  • overwhelming take away: Live actors bring realism, originality, and authenticity to productions
